'The Audio Shock Therapist: Revived Edition' Now Available

On September 6th 2024, Stephen Voyce released, with little to no warning, "The Audio Shock Therapist: Revived Edition', the extended cut of his album, 'The Audio Shock Therapist', which initially dropped on June 4th.

The Revived Edition, aptly named, adds 6 new songs to the project, bringing the track count from 18 to 24, and in doing so, breathes new life into the album.

Further diving into the theme of revitalization and rebirth, the additional songs consist of both newly created tracks and concepts that had been initially abandoned but never quite forgotten and so were reworked and given a second chance at life.

'Serre-Moi Encore' serves as the perfect example having actually started off as the precursor concept for the track 'Serre-Moi' which appears on the original version of the album. By fusing legacy elements of the song with newly incorporated ideas, 'Serre-Moi Encore', serves as both a prequel and sequel to 'Serre-Moi'. 

The new songs on 'The Audio Shock Therapist: Revived Edition' feature the very talented WOLFKAT, Oro Marzo, Sarah Maxwell and Jshatese, in order of appearance.

This album comes full circle with this release. In 'The Audio Shock Therapist', Stephen was shocked back to life, metaphorically, by music; he was reminded off his own creative flow, which stems from a place of acceptance and surrender. With 'The Audio Shock Therapist: Revived Edition', he expresses gratitude to the very album that helped him rediscover himself by now revitalizing it with new creative energy.
